I could tell that it was half a heart...but if you want a real opinion, then I'd say yes to change it. It detracts from the heart in the pupil of the eye....overpowers it, if you understand what I'm trying to say. If you're going for a symbol instead of letters, then maybe something like a triangle that would essentially point up toward the eye.
LOL - See what happens when you ask for an opinion. It happens all the time, words just pop right out of my mouth. Have a wonderful weekend.
