This was my grandfathers watch. he purchased it in Switzerland over 50 years ago.

I know nothing about watches at all.

I only know that this is an OMEGA - 14k Solid Gold Watch, and on the back clip it says "750"

Does anyone have any info on the history of this watch?

Any ideas what it is worth?

If you need more info from me to make a good judgement, just email me.

Here is a link to see all the pictures of this watch:

Supplying the serial number, Omega Switzerland would give you all known information on this watch. Their after-sales service also worries about such old items!

Perhaps it was registered sometime for service? Or it was resold by an official dealer?
