New job and my supervisor ignores me and treats me so rudely and has no class whatsoever. I think she feels threatened by me as others tell me I am the best to walk in the door so far. Mind you, in the last year, 7 people have left this job. Now I know why!!

Nothing, she is the boss. She can be rude to you, so if you can't deal you'll need to find a new job. You can learn from this though. Ask what the retention rate for a position during the interview process. They might not be 100% honest, but you should be able to learn something from the answer.

Sounds like it won't be long before you become Number 8. My advice to you: Don't take any crap from her. She gets rude with you, call her sorry @$$ on the carpet and make it very clear that she WILL NOT speak to you that way or you WILL give her the *****-slap she so richly deserves (not exactly in those words, though). Stand up to her. The only reason she treats you that way is because she believes she can. Don't let her. And if she starts making your life at work a living Hell because of it, walk right into HER boss's office and give her a laundry list of everything your supervisor has been doing. Good luck!

Well, technically, your boss is better...that's she's the boss. HOWEVER, she probably just has an attitude problem. She may also be threatened, b/c if others there think you're really that good, and she's only a superisor...perhpas she thinks her job is at risk, so she'll ingore you and treat you bad and turn it all around to look bad on you. My supervisor did this me when I started here, but I forged on, did my work well and in a timely fasion...i've been here for two years now! : )
Good luck!

Are you posting at work? You may find yourself in the unemployment line again. Remember, she is the supervisor and deserves to be treated with respect, whether you like her or not.

Be really really nice to her! it will give her a big shock.

Failing that, pass her a note saying "me and you, meet after work in the car park" then at the end of the day splat a custard pie her in the face.

Here are two rules about the boss.

1. The boss is the boss. Any questions?
2, If you have any questions, refer to rule # 1.
------------------
Please remember two things.. What comes around goes around,, and you know the one about paybacks.

Meanwhile, you have to decide. Do you bear with it, or start looking.

Well, her boss obviously thinks she is better as well. She is the supervisior, not you. Your misplaced ego trip, "she feels threatened", is likely your problem, not her.

Is there a question here? There are blogs for all kinds of rants but this isn't it.
