Sounds like side effects to me, but it is better than these possible side effects: I am intrigued by Amnesia, jaundice, and incontinence.
I think you might be better off not taking them.
The following adverse events have been reported in association with the use of benzodiazepines: dystonia, irritability, concentration difficulties, anorexia, transient amnesia or memory impairment, loss of coordination, fatigue, seizures, sedation, slurred speech, jaundice, musculoskeletal weakness, pruritus, diplopia, dysarthria, changes in libido, menstrual irregularities, incontinence, and urinary retention.

Xanax is supposed to chill you out, seriously chill you out, to the point where you're so relaxed you could, and might even, fall asleep. You may be allergic or perhaps some other medication is blocking the effects (in which case the xanax is not making you anything, it's just not having any effect on how you would be without medication). I suggest that you stop taking the xanax, and run out to Walgreen's or whatever is near you and try some SAM-e. It is a natural chill out pill that just calms you down, it doesn't make you feel woozy or tired or hyper, it simply calms the ripples and all of a sudden you'r elike, "hey, I'm totally calm". Hope this advice helps you.

Xanax will relax you. certainly it will make you stoned. you will likely sleep after a pair hours in case you're taking it. i think of it does help in making you much less emotional because it virtually makes a guy or woman zombie-like. it might desire to be good theory so which you would be able to seek for some form of counselling so which you would be able to seek advice from somebody who isn't emotionally/mentally in contact with you and enable you to artwork by way of your matters. good luck I desire you lots peace.

It's time to go back to the doctor and try another. I had to go through 5 different kinds before I found one that worked and didn't have any side effects I didn't want to put up with. Don't give up yet. Once you find the right one you'll be happy you pursued it.
