The dixie chicks are a bunch of empty headed- big breasted blonde idiots that need to have their microphones shoved down their throats.
Bush is more patriotic. He fights for what he believes in. The dixie chicks only complain.

Tough question. The Chicks were just stupid speaking about their political beliefs in front of an audience that is undeniably behind their country and troops one hundred percent. And I can see how/why the fans got upset with them. But are they unpatriotic for saying it? no, one of the great things about this country is that we can say we are ashamed of Bush and not go to jail for it. Are the Chicks patriotic? I believe so, they have stated they love America (just not the current person in charge). Is Bush patriotic? I believe he is doing what he thinks is best for the country, and that is patriotism defined....now whether what he is doing IS best for the country...that is another story. So who is more patriotic? I would have to say Bush, He is doing what he believes is best....not just talking about it..not apologizing for being wrong, but taking steps to make the wrong a little less severe.

Both are equally un-patriotic.

Bush - weakens our national defense capability by sending hundreds of thousands of American troops overseas to fight in a country that does not want us there. Dems are calling for our early withdrawal & if they succeed (hopefully won't) he will have only created a haven for extremist islamic factions. furthermore, the money we are pumping into iraq, afghanistan, & the phillipines (forgot about that one didn't ya) could/should be spent on legitimate defense projects like the soon to be dead F/A-22 & quality of life programs to keep the military in uniform (training new recruits is extremely expensive). lastly, bush does all this under the stance that you're either w/ us or against us. how brilliant a plan!

dixie chicks - i kinda support them. they have the right to speak their mind. the constitution & the military guanrantee this right. so good on them. it is the way they do it that gets me rilled-up. why make it personal? state what you want, but do it respectfully. don't continually call people out just because you don't agree. all the while they are bringing down troop morale, because they are causing people to second guess leadership & the mission.

neither are doing it correctly.

Bush. The Dixie Chicks need to be treated the same way they were when they spewed that garbage...the concerts were ignored and the records burned. The silent majority spoke. The idea here is we dont need a Jane Fonda wannabee ridiculing the freedoms that alloow them to do that. More evidence that liberals have no shame...none whatsoever.
