I'm considering getting circumcised. I wanted to do it as an aniversery surprise for my wife because she is overseas and i will be able to heal b4 i see her again. I was just wondering what most women would think of this if their husband did it it. Does it make any sexual difference at all? Does it feel any different?

I have no idea what an uncircumcised penis feels like, heck I dont know what it looks like either! My husband was circumcised when he was born. But she obviously loves you (since she married you!). I doubt it would make any difference to her at all. I would say, dont do it. Why go through the pain.

I think this would be a horrible experience. Why in the world would you put yourself through that. Your wife hasn't had a problem with it so why would you change it. It isn't healthier to be cut and the foreskin is there for your sexual pleasure. It serves a function that circumcised men don't experience. To a women it doesn't feel that much different. Also I don't know when your wife will be back but if you do decide to do it keep in mind that you won't be able to use it for a while.

I think it's a myth that it's healthier. The extra skin is there for a reason, in the first place. As long as you keep yourself clean and you've had no problems so far - there is absolutely no difference.

Your choice - but I think that's a crazy idea! Your mother was kind to you for not having done that to you. They've done studies and determined that the baby suffers severe trauma during that procedure, and now some doctors will use a local anasthetic, where they didn't use to. Some barbaric traditions we still have!

If what I've said doesn't convince you - I found this on a medical website:

Possible complications of adult circumcision include a change in sensation during intercourse, bleeding, poor cosmetic results and infection.

The inalienable body ownership rights of infants and children continue to be addressed within the U.S. legal system in lawsuits asserting that the only person who can legally consent to a circumcision is a person making this personal decision for himself. The reports of dissatisfaction with parental circumcision decisions by circumcised men help to illustrate this point. Performed on their penises without their consent, thousands are now undergoing foreskin restoration, either medical or surgical, to reconstruct what they consider was violently taken from their bodies early in their lives. The Declaration of the First International Symposium on Circumcision acknowledges the unrecognized victims of circumcision and, in support of genital ownership rights of infants and children.
As many people have mis stated the facts about health and smell all it requires is regular bathing and some powder to insure dryness .

Having experienced both, I don’t think it makes any difference at all, but I will say that I personally find the circumcised ‘parts’ a little prettier (just a personal opinion).

Hubby was circumcised as an adult (before I met him) and he says it was NOT a pleasant experience. Of course, that was many, many years ago, so maybe it’s not as bad now.

Does your wife have a thing for circumsized men? Or else I dont understand why you would do it?

I find un circumsized men alot easier to get around with, no lube, just got a be a little more careful in senstive areas. But thats me.

But no sexual pleasure isnt different at all.

Did the doctor tell you how physical sensation YOU'RE going to give up?
FYI: There is a considerable network of nerves going to the end and some will be severed in this process.

I would do it. I have been with both and I think the idea of an Uncut is just a negative feature. it is cleaner and healthier in the long run

I think an uncircumsised penis is ugly. Sorry, that's just my personal preference. If she's not said anything to you about it bothering her, then why put yourself through that pain?

She loves you the way you are and I think it's a huge sacrifice on your part to make.

As far as it feeling any different, I think the uncircumsised ones actually feel better. (Again, that is just my personal opinion).

Best of luck to you!

It doesn't feel different at all. I don't think it looks different enough to even make it an issue. Why do you want to do this to yourself? Would you ask your wife to have surgery for you?
