Has anyone ever toured the ethel m. chocolate factory, and cactus garden? Is it worth taking our three kids to it. Ages 14, 12, 10

Thanks for the people who already answered. We will stay clear of the chocolate factory. And just so no one will bash me for taking kids to Vegas. My Brother lives there. So, I take them to see their Uncle. And My Brother and his wife usually babysit , so my husband and I can enjoy vegas as a couple. Thanks for all the good advice. also, My kids have been to Disney, and they like vegas better go figure!

Mine's 15 and she likes LV much better than Disney World/Land etc
I for one think the Gardens at the Ethel M Factory are really awesome. I don't think I would go in July though. About the only good thing about the factory are the free samples at the end of the tour.

They will be bored stiff at the chocolate factory and cactus garden.
Why the heck are you taking 3 kids to Vegas?? For God's sake...hire a sitter and enjoy Las Vegas with your spouse!!!

I hate to agree with another poster but I would agree. Not the greatest family vacation. However, since I'm sure it's already booked and that's a done deal I would avoid the chocolate factor and cactus gtarden, they will be bored to death.
Really about the only thing to do with kids is take them to Excalibur or Circus Circus.

It will be hot and I believe they might be bored. But there are plenty of teen and preteen things to do. Circus Circus is kid friendly and has a huge game room. Same with Excalibur. The mirage has lions that you can see up close. Treasurer Island has a pirate ship fight that's awesome. Lots of free things and cool shopping too.

Don't take your kids to Vegas. I went in January on my honeymoon, and decided I'm definitely never going to take my kids. They may make out like it is a family friendly city now, but not in my opinion.
