A newer Honda tranny is different than most. You'll notice that there is not a pan. There is however some kind of filter/screen that you don't have to replace they do that when they overhaul.
You'll find the drain plug on the passengers side of the tranny. BEFORE you pull that be sure that you have something that you can drain the fluid into . . . some people want to wear goggles just in case it splashes, it's a good idea, but not a must. Once you drain it, REPLACE THE PLUG. If you forget this you're screwed. Then go to the top of the engine block and locate you're tranny dip stick. If you're not sure where that is again refer to your owners manual. You can take a cleaned out oil just BE SURE IT'S CLEAN!! and cut out the bottom if you don't have a funnel to put the new fluid into. You want to be careful on what kind of fluid you are replacing it with, Hondas are touchy especially newer ones. Valvoline is good, but Honda has special types that they suggest you use, your manual or a local Honda dealer will know this.
Make sure you are on level ground and read your manual to find out how much to add. Usually around 2.5 - 2.7. When you've filled it. replace your dip stick, and drive your car about 3 - 5 miles. Let it get warm and then come back to level ground and check the level again. Be careful not to over fill. Also be sure the cap is clean when you put it back in. Good Luck.
