As much as I empathise and agree with every word of this, it seems too pre rehearsed don't you think? Was this done with Iranian arrangement for effect to the UK media and govt. ?

it is obviously they british sailors being prompted by the iranians. And the letters they had Faye Turney (or whatever her name is) are so poor English, they must have been read from a translated letter. 'to british people' for example. And the way they reffer to their ship is totally against the norm - sailors do not reffer to their ships like that. If they want to get a reaction they need to get someone who knows about Britain, can do grammar and punctuation, stop prompting the sailors, and stop cutting after all the 'confessions' have been said (to aviod the sailors saying 'this is all s***).

No, I think it was truly written by an educated Iranian who can write joined up in English
