date if you want to

I have been divorced for over 10 year, and I haven't yet "recovered" 100% from it. Mind you I don't dwell on my previous marriage, but there are things I wish I could have changed about that whole situation, even though there is nothing I could have done differently.

As for your other question, I wouldn't date during your separation. You need to take some time before you get out there again. Most 2nd marriages that end up in divorce, do so because of the fact that people rush into getting married again, just so they can be married.

It depends on how hard it is for you to let go and quit placing blame on who's fault the divorce was.

No you should not date during the separation. You are still legally married.

every takes different amount of time. I have not been divorced but I know that it is hard to separate. I had a horrible separation. but it was hard because he still came around and tried to you know. if it is over for you go ahead and date. if it is not then wait till you feel better about it.

you do not want to be some ones rebound. I feel really bad about the guy that was mine. but if I had not met him and got over my ex with him. then I could not have met my husband and moved on with my life.

it is a double edged sword either way some one is being ripped apart.

1.Generally a year.
2. no no and NO.
You don't realize how much the divorce is messing with your mind and emotiones. Even if you meet a once in a lifetime person, DON"T DO IT. Take a year.

I read it takes roughly one month for every year you have been together. Ballpark figure I suppose. Everyone is different.
I think dating is probably ok but do hot hold your breath too much.
