this may be a stupid question but can i still be pregnant even if i have had my period?

You can have what may appear to be a period and be pregnant. This is breakthrough bleeding and occurs when the hormone levels are not yet high enough to suppress bleeding. Generally, the length of the bleeding will be shorter and the flow and color will be lighter. There are quite a few women who have this happen the first month but some have it occur even up to a few months into their pregnancies. If you think you may be pregnant, take a test. I had what I thought was a period but suspected I was pregnant anyway. I took a home test and it came up positive. So, if you're not sure, take a test and put your mind at ease.

It's very doubtful, but if you are experiencing symptoms, take a test. Be aware that pregnancy and period symptoms are the same though.

Anything Is Possible..!!!!! just cause someone Bleeding Dose not mean anything i mean it dose but it could mean something else. I know Meany Girls With the same Problem and happened to be pregnant.

its possible but highly unlikely since having a period usually gives you a clear picture that you are not pregnant. hoewever you still could be....you might want to ask your doctor. good luck to u!

if it was a normal flow on the day it was due .then no your not take a test. having your normal period means you arent pregnant
