I hope she would think I had done OK.
I was a brat with good parents.

This is an excellent question! The child in me would be very proud. I was the ugly duckling that no one liked and who got picked on everyday. Because of life experiences and the way I was raised, I've become strong willed, fiercely independent, clever and classy. Friends who know me will say the same things if you ask them, even individually =)

Good question Cat!

He would probably be stunned that i reached this age, he would expect me to be an astronaut, shame.

In his teens he worried if love was real, i could tell him it was, but it comes in a million shades. The simplest love I know is that which i feel for my children, because it is not conditional on them loving me back. Adult love is a complex thing and can often be painfull to bear.

At 18 he didnt know what to do with his life....no change there then! :)

I really like that question. You're one of those deep thinkers like me. Well, I hope that that child would had more determination to have a better job than one I grew up to have if I had known. But I would have been excited to know I was going to have the lovely children that I have had. Hmmmm. Going to think some more about that.

Wow - why did she grow up and forget about all the good things in life!!! Like running in the rain, laughing at daft things, and not being scared of climbing trees. Although I like to think that I have still retained some sense of fun!

She would think I was the coolest adult ever, and want to be just like me.... except maybe a little more playful and a lot more famous...with a racecar :-). But overall I guess I'm doing ok. Great question!

I like myself, YIPEE

she would not believe how i turned out. the 5 yr old of me would wonder how i got to be shy when i first meet people. i was very outgoing and a talkative child. the teenager would be so embarrassed of how i dress no doubt. but i guess we all gotta grow up sometime.

I think she would be a bit awed. I always wanted 6 kids and have 4...when I was a kid, I thought it would be idealic and perfect...husband, kids, white picket fence, dog...

But in reality I am a single Mom of 4 with a white picket fence (with so many weeds growing thru it you would think it was a jungle) and a dog....that has fleas. :-)

My world is exactly as I always imagined it......just without those rose colored glasses.
