Watching on TV:
1. The original Jeopardy! with Art Fleming and Don Pardo.
2. The $25,000 Pyramid with Dick Clark.
Also, I always enjoyed it when Betty White was the guest celebrity, especially on Password.
On the original Hollywood Squares, Paul Lynde was not only the brightest, but had the best wisecrack answers.
The favorite home version to play at home was Concentration. I remember getting through a roll of 100(?) of the rebus puzzles, and then "sending away (allow 4 to 6 weeks for delivery)" for a new roll. What a thrill when the cardboard tube came in the mail weeks later! :)

This will date me: Concentration. It has always fascinated me. From the satisfying klik-klik-wrrrr-KLIK of the gameboard when a number is called to its mind-bending rebus puzzles. It proves a game show can be interesting without resorting to stupid gimmicks.
