Definately D. Women's Rights movement didn't really blossom until 1848 when the groups Declaration of Rights and Settlements was introduced.

I pick D as it seems to make the most sense. However all 5 choices are subjective and you'd have to provide a lot of evidence to back them up in a debate.

I think A is wrong because there is no way women where better off under the King then under the new US government. I think B doesn't make much sense. C would not apply for another 100 years. D makes no sense either.

D The reason I chose D was because the other 4 signify an upward turn in the status of women which really did not get refined and head in an upward direction until we left the dominant agricultural economy of the early years of the US.

i like D, since it was still largley an agrian society i would doubt much actual change.
