Alot of people like Hulk Hogan, some even love him. Hogan was a great champion. He was a great heel. I can't say that he is the greatest solely for the reason of the other champions included in the question

I don't see how you cannot be a fan of the man that made pro-wrestling what it is today. Despite his move set, the guy knew how to work a match and how to get the crowd into it. He is the most recognized face in pro-wrestling and for those who say he has an ego and he wants money, that goes on in all forms of entertainment. Tom Hanks wont do a film for less than 20 million nowadays and athletes cry for more money every year. If you can get paid, why not especially when you consider what Hogan has done for the business.

Hulk Hogan was champion only because he had WWE and WCW in his pocket, he DEMANDED to be champion, and then, wouldn't do tv time without it being on a Pay-Per-View!
I remember never seeing Hogan on a single Saturday Night's Main Event growing up!

I used to be a huge Hogan backer...

I never saw Hogan in a match when I was growing up. I hear about him, yeah, but more as a movie star than a wrestler, so I never quite understood what the Hulkamania hype is all about. Maybe it's his music and his innate charisma, and the fact that he's been the industry for decades already. But then again, in the matches I've seen him compete in? In all those occassions you could see who was carrying the match - and it was never him.
