dont worry its very easy and simple.follow the following things daily;
1)wash your penis/glans very carefully at bedtime
2)no smegma(whitish material)should be present
3)whenever you urinate retract your foreskin so that urine does not touch your glans.
4)check for blood sugar level
5)follow these steps daily/everyday for a month.see the difference.see it to believe it. dr.sudhakar

The "string thing" you mention is called the frenulum. The frenulum, along with the foreskin, is removed during circumcision. It isn't possible to retract all of the skin on the shaft of your penis, just the foreskin. Take a look at the following link for more information.

I think you just referred to the frenulum that keeps and drives foreskin movements. It's an important organs and hasn't to break or to be cut unless there is a real medical necessity. Usually foreskin has to move freely and with no constriction until to uncover the glans completely. Let's know better your situation.

Its very sensitive area and it will become loose with time being you do not need to stretch it. Once you will start having sex may be in very beginning it will hurt and even you will bleed from that spot but slowly it will get better and you will enjoy that area as due to sensitiveness it will help you stimulate. You are normal. The people who want you to get circumcised would have you cut off your ears if you got a pimple on one of them!
A new study proves conclusively, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that circumcision decreases sensitivity for the man. http://www.blackwell-synergy.com/doi/abs/10.1111/j.1464-410X.2006.06685.x

That is the frenulum, and it's supposed to be there! This is a very nerve rich area. It is very sensitive and can be stimulated during sex, or by your partner giving oral. You'll be glad you've got it once you start using it!!
