Yes, yes, the solution is always more government control.

Wait . . . isn't CHINA the place where that poisonous wheat glutin came from?

What does taxes have anything to do with getting salmonella? FDA should be doing their job anyway with current funds - it's their fault that they aren't doing what they're supposed to do. Why should taxpayers pay more for the FDA to do what they're supposed to do in the first place? This line of reasoning is nuts..

On second thought, we should just give the FDA the peanut butter that they failed to examine.

Ah, a little salmonella never hurt anyone. I ate two jars of that peanut butter before the recall and I'm (twitch) fine (snort). And what's another dead pet? Just go to the pound and pick up another poochie.

It's not like the FDA monitors dog food manufacturers real closely anyway.

I'll take the less taxes and the occasional bout of crapping and puking.

Less Taxes....Given the attitude of the Dems in control now it would be 1 billion to fund the fda and another 1 billion for pork.

Hey, how can we fund the FDA when there are way more important things to fund like the war and stuff. We need to fight this war so we can be free to have things like tainted food if we want to.

I'm all for grinding the dead pets into peanut butter.

We need Higher Taxes and less Government for the next 100 years to recover from Bush's destructive policies.

Less taxes. The marketplace will take care of irresponsible companies. If they want to stay in business, they will police themselves. People vote with their wallet, first. Even non-registered voters. It's a great thing when we let it work.

Lower taxes. It's the USDA we need to worry about more - all that meat to inspect and such.
