In my country, Issa is usually a family name. It is not certainly not unusual. It is particularly different.

My great grandmothers name was Issa. My daughters name is Isabella. We didn't know till after my daughter was born and named. So, yes, I like the name.

I like the name. It is Arabic for "God saves." I wonder if it comes from the name Issaic...
I know a Ukranian man named illya. The name was strange on the tongue when we first met, but now I don't think about the uniqueness of the name anymore and it suits him perfectly.
