Interesting question, one I never considered since I rarely dine on frog legs. My thinking is that it'd be OK. I tend to think of meat as beef, pork, chicken, lamb, etc. Fish is definitely OK, and I imagine reptiles would be OK too. When in doubt, ask your priest.

Well, I'm a mackeral snapper myself, and it should be fine.

In my line of thinking, fish is meat too, it's muscle with blood in it.

Just because the fishing industry was having trouble in Italy centuries ago and the Pope decided to help them out by mandating fish on Friday doesn't mean I think it's any sort of highway to hell.

How about who cares, I'm stuck out here in the desert with my fellow troops wishing to come home for some good food and there you go asking about freaking frog legs, are you snobby or what!!. eat MRE's, and potted meat for 6 months then ASK if its ok to eat frog legs!!! I take it you're referring to the Roman Catholic prohibition of meat on Friday. I thought the Church had stopped this some years ago!
