Victoria was a Hanoverian not Saxe Coburg Gotha just as Elizabeth II is Windsor not Mountbatten. Victoria married Albert of Saxe Coburg Gotha so that name went to their son - Edward VII. George V changed the name to Windsor. When the current queen dies, Charles will be the house of Mountbatten after his father although they will call it Mountbatten-Windsor.

The above answers are good, but you might want to note that between Charles I and Charles II there was no king.Charles I was beheaded and there was then a commonwealth and a protectorate from 1649-1660.The Cromwell's,Oliver and his son Robert were the leaders during this time.
