I think the best anime right now is either Death Note or D.Gray-man. If you're into adventure and more kind of long series like InuYasha then you will definitely like D.Gray-man. Death Note is more focused on the plot and there's less action but it has suspense.
The art for these two anime are fabulous and you will definitely like them.

I like the much older versions of anime such as Sailor moon but i would have to say i like Bleach ,Elfen Lied, Yami No Matsuei, and that's all i can think of right now besides old anime movies such as Tekken

RIGHT NOW i think Ergo Proxy is the best at this time but a classic that is still good right now is Witch Hunter Robin... and for u naruto fans, all i have to say is Tante Baiyo *not sure if spelled right but ya*

Naruto,Naruto:Shippuuden, and Bleach are the best right now and many more that are on my mind that follow and cant put down here because i cant remember all of em' ......all anime are the best....^_^

Yu Yu Hakusho is classic. The older the btter the newer stuff is just sloppy.

naruto, bleach, gundam seed, owtlaw star, tokyo mew mew, sailor moon, pretear,tsubasa chronicles, and kamikaze kaitou jeanne
