Take him to the doctors ASAP . Bill your aunt for the bill. If she objects then have the doctor explain that they type of bruising that your son has is not consistant with the kind he might sustain if he fell off the bed.
The 3 yr old probably was jealous of the attention that your son was recieving and probably struck out at your son to show his domiance or that he (the 3 yr old) was "top dog"
My niece decided to show her being the "top dog" by throwing D batteries at my son's head when he was just under 2 months old that she brought over from her own house in her play purse.
Always remember never to leave a young child alone with a baby even when the young childs intentions are good they can sometimes end up hurting the baby.

Wow. I love kids. When my son was an infant, about 4 days old, all my little cousins wanted to hold him. I would make them wash their hands and tell them how it's important to hold the head and....I never tell a kid their too small it hurts their feelings. They are always told they are too small to do so many other things. I make sure the kid holding the baby is sitting on the couch, I always sit right next to them or stand in front of them. I sometimes tell them to wait until the child is sleeping. I think your cousin did hit your baby and I think he did it because he was jealous and you probably hurt his feeling. As far as making your aunt believe you I don't know what to tell you.

Good lord woman, run to the emergency room. Babies skulls are really not all completed and cannot suffer any major blows. Especially if he has such a bruise, bring him in at any cost even now. This can be either something serious or small just the same be safe than sorry. Please bring your child into the emergency or walk in clinic!

ask the teachers to chop up the toddlers into diverse communities or rooms ask what the discipline tactics are for the baby who's hitting? curiously issues are being left to bypass on too long if instructors have already spoken the the discern, however the area remains persevering with. as for the different mom, ask her how she might sense if it replaced into her baby being hit? might she nevertheless think of that 'usual'? might she be happy for it to proceed after she had complained? or greater effective yet, if somebody slapped her on a popular foundation might she be comfortable with that? in all risk no longer! sometimes human beings purely would desire to work out issues from a diverse attitude to delight in that it's not suited! :) desire this helped and good luck with it...your baby would desire to have the means to bypass to college and luxuriate in his time there with out this nonsense

my son rolled over in the hospital. but if he was still on the bed when you walked in then im sure he did not. your aunt just does not want to believe that her son could have done something like that. from now on don't leave your son alone on the bed for even a min. take him to the doctor and have them check for any head trauma right away. good luck.

I would of took that bat and hit my cousin up side the head with that. =/ Well that might not be the best thing to do. My mom would have put him in the middle of the living room and made him stand there with his arms straight out to his sides like an airplane and made him stand there until he was super tired.

I'd be so mad I might not beable to talk. Ask her how your newborn baby that doesnt roll got a big bruise on his face. I'd also tell her I wouldnt be coming to her house as long as she allows her child like that and say or do nothing. Thats a lack of parenting. Matter of fact I wouldnt say nothing I wouldnt call her, go to her house nothing she owes you a sorry.

Even though newborns don't roll yet, please don't place him on a surface where he can fall, especially unattended.
Anyway, the fact of the matter is it doesn't matter whether she believes you or not, that boy is her problem not yours. Just keep your baby close by when he is around.
Second, babies, especially a 1 month olds bones are like jello. You need to have his face checked for a fracture! ASAP.

Your little cousin needs an @ss-whuppin'. Then you need to cuss your aunt out to the point that you'll need the pope to come in and bless both of you. Don't let either of them get away with this. Matter of fact, don't visit your aunt anymore and don't let your baby out of your sight, especially when your cousin is around.

Please don't waste any more time on Yahoo Answers-- take the baby to the Emergency Room.
The baby fell off the bed and/or was hit with a bat-- the baby has a big bruise on his face-- please, go to the Emergency Room ASAP.
