While Australia are hot favourites to win the world cup at the present form, since cricket is a game of uncertainties, nothing can be predicted for sure as South Africa, New Zeland and Sri Lanka are also capable of winning the world cup.. Whichever team performs to their potential consistently during the super 8 matches will be the ultimate winners

New Zealand has more chance, but I love Ireland to lift the World Cup (maybe in the near future!)

Aussies are in tremendous form. they are the champs theres no doubt about that but any thing can happen. even africans are playing well,new zealand are on a role. they are winning matches. but i think south africa will win this cup. they are they only one who has defeated australia more than any other teams. AND they are in superb form too. so chances are there for africans to win this cup.

I am still for Sri Lanka, due to Muralitharan, Vaas, Mahela jayewardane (his fluency seems to have vanished presently!), and the most graceful batsman presently, Sangakara. His game is a sight to behold, and he can score runs on pitches where others find it difficutl. And he seems so humble, hats off to him.
