No. Think about what you pay? A few dollars a day for basic cable. And think about what that gets you -->the ability to know what's going on in the world, you can see other countries, see other worlds, see cartoons made up in someone's head, you can watch Regis, and watch sitcoms, you can laugh, learn, cry, be scared, buy jewelry, watch people preach, watch people cook, you can do all that, and for only a few dollars a day? I think that actual value of that resource is extremely high- it's worth it.

REMEMBER YOUR CABLE OR DISH PROVIDER IS ONLY CHARGING YOU FOR EQUIPMENT AND BASIC SERVICE, OTHER PROVIDERS SUCH AS HBO, CINAMAX, STARS, TMC, SHOWTIME, THEY CHARGE YOUR CABLE PROVIDER FOR CARRYING THERE SERVICE. ALSO SOME CITIES CHARGE A FRANCHISE FEE AND ALSO THE FCC HAS A CHARGE. CHECK YOUR BILL IT SHOWS IT THERE.

Yeah, you bet. My cable cost $7.00 a month when it was first installed. Now it's over $70.00. Figure that rate of inflation.

what a good question....the last 2 months my cable has gone up.... one month it went from $30...to $37....then this month it went up to $45....I cant believe it....we need to revolt!
