The Italian word for Lightning Bolt (or thunder bolt) that is used in the Godfather?

It's when Micheal is in Italy and he sees Apollonia for the 1st time. They say he was hit with the lightning (or thunder- I can't remember) bolt. Does anyone know what word they used? Thanks!!!!

He says "è stato un colpo di fulmine" (it has been a stroke of lightning).
It's the Italian saying that it's used when somebody fall in love at the first sight. Lightning it's very quick like the love that suddenly comes up

well lightning in Italian is bullone del lampo and thunder is tuono
