I like 4x4 type vehicles to drive, like Jeep, bmx5, shogun, Lexus, Volvo 4x4. But not happy with the new high road tax going to be £300, then upto £400 next year, which high up for driving, 4x4 type can i get which will have cheaper tax and running costs, does it go on engine size or what.

I think it goes on whether it is a work vehicle or a toy. I believe that they decided the older landrovers were going to be exempt from the hike, but I know little of it really.

I get the impression that everything you listed will have a tax hike.
