Yeah, I lost my grandma almost 2 years ago. She was 88, which is pretty old, but that didn't make it any less painful. She had lived with my mom and brother and me since I was 7. She had a stroke in 1997, and then she spent the last 6 years of her life in a nursing home when we couldn't care for her anymore. We used to visit her every single day, but it was still awful. I think about her every day.

I just lost a high school friend in Iraq 2 weeks ago. He was on his way home to get married. But he got injured by a IED and died from the injuries.

Yes, and it was an awful feeling. I lost one of my best friend over in IRAQ. He was sent out on delpyment and was suppose to come back to his pregnant girlfriend but never made it back. I remember when I found out I thought I was going to die as. The best way to deal with it was to pray and never forget him. He wouldnt want for us to sit around and cry so we went on. Its still hard for his girlfriend.
