The best are the kind that rely on suspense instead of cheap Hollywood FX (even good ones) to gross you out. Anticipating the scary event is more intense than seeing blood splatter all over the screen.

I prefer the original Omen, Poltergeist, the Exorcist, etc.

The Hills Have Eyes 1 (haven't seen part 2 yet), texas Chainsaw Massacre..........all horror movies suck these days!!

I lOVE scary movies!! okay i like the ring!! that is the scariest one for me!! i like the grudge 2 that one scared me more than the first, I like the exorcist- and there was another one with the tooth fairy- gosh i cant even remember it but that was good.. i like Jeepers creepers too.. hey if u didnt see dead silence yet-- well its not scary!
