I like the "everybody nuke 'em" it is like when a group all use shotguns on a criminal, it is next to impossible to determine which shooter actually killed the criminal (movie "Roadhouse").

The Iranian president got away with keeping US Citizens hostage years ago, so why would he think he can't repeat the act?

What will the UK do when they show the sailors being beheaded?

More talk? Or justified reaction?

For the newman types, I should explain that this has NOTHING to do with Pastor Melissa Scott! But at least newman is answering something besides that issue! (Check out newman's questions and you will see what I mean).

Also "nuke 'em" doesn't mean total nuclear warheads on every inch of Iran.

Today's nuclear warheads can target areas smaller than one square kilometer!

If you selectively nuke certain government building (Presidential offices, etc.) you can do it little "fallout" (both political and nuclear).

Again, Newman glad you have ventured out on other topics!

For those that don't think UK should nuke Iran, what would Iran have to do to change your mind?

I respect the U.K. and her leaders. It is their call however they decide.

Just remember the words of Sir Edmund Hillary:

ALL THAT IS REQUIRED FOR EVIL TO PREVAIL IS FOR GOOD MEN TO DO NOTHING.

Come again. What rights has Iran violated? They have captured military personnel intruding upon their sovereign waters. Iran is treating the prisoners better than the US has its prisoners. Iran has simply asked Britain to admit its mistake and the prisoners can go free. But Tony Blair wants to make an issue out if, wants to get the Security Counsel involved.

Tell me, what would Britain do if they found Iranian sailers sneaking around the British coastline?

If it is necessary, but as the UK has complained to the security council of the UN then an official UN investigation should take place, if Iran is guilty of abduction then all members should nuke Iran, but if the sailors were in Iranian waters then all members should nuke the UK. fair is fair.

NO. Nukes are never a solution. I'm pretty sure a nuclear war would not be a good thing for this small earth.

Iran violated all our rights by taking those hostages and the UK and the rest of us had better do something about Iran.

The way its been up to now, probably just more talk. Nobody has learned anything from WW2. You cant appease madmen. You can only destroy them or surrender to them. In today's sissified world, it appears everybody is going to do the latter. Makes me want to go home!

In my opinion: Let's get our troops out NOW. And then nuke the hell out of Iran. No one can nuke Iran with our troops in Iraq.

And I support the Iraq war. But no one nukes Iran with our guys next door. Uh uh.
