Seen it, didn't like it. The acting and script are terrible, Malcolm McDowell overacts abominably, most of the other actors looked embarrassed - and I don't blame them one bit!

Neither movie shows some thing remotely on the fringe of what Rome became like . the unique CALIGULA became not ordinary middle porn. It purely confirmed for a week or so in the previous it became pulled from all theaters and each and each of the sex scenes were reduce out. the unique x-rated version hasn't ever been commercially obtainable. It became made in the previous video clips and DVDs were invented. on account that then the unique X -rated version has been banned because there have been some very surprising (and delightful) sex scenes. The HBO sequence ROME became very solid and extremely exciting, besides the indisputable fact that it became nonetheless all fiction. I,Claudius the British television sequence is definitely easily one of the finest of the batch. It has no sex scenes and no nudity.

The script was written by Gore Vidal and included a great cast and gave a reasonably accurate account of Caligula's life. Unfortunately the producer was after a sex film and secretly filmed additional sex scenes when the main cast were off the set. In the end the film was neither one or the other. I did enjoy the acting though.

Regretfully, I did. It stars Malcolm McDowell, brother of Roddy McDowell, and is and x-rated piece of cinematic garbage. Explicit sex, violence and language depicting the horrors of the emporer Caligula.

I haven't personally seen it but my mum was working in a cinema when it came out and she said that grown men were walking out in disgust because it was such a vile movie. It was only showing where she worked for a week and then pulled because no one was coming to see it after word of mouth got round.

My friends exhusband had it in his collection and had apparently watch it at least 100 times. I just found it boring and couldn't even get through the first viewing
