1) Consider having your brows shaped by a professional. He/she can help you find the most flattering way to frame your eyes.

2) Avoid lengthening mascaras because you have enough going on horizontally; you don't need your lashes to reach outwards.

3) Use eyeliner sparingly. Apply it close to the top lash line only to avoid creating a harsh, dark circle around your eyes.

4) Avoid using dark shadow all over your lid in an effort to make it recede. It will look too harsh.

By enhancing, you don't mean, making them more protruding, right? Protruding, means, COMING FORWARD. You're Eyelids should be lighter to the front where lashes are, use darker, to create a good crevasse.
Eye color shadows are not important, you can use most any colors you like according to you're face, makeup, skin colors etc...
IT'S IN THE APPLICATION, that what counts to make you're shape look the best. There is a guideline in make up camouflaging: GOOD FEATURES, you want to stand out more. To do this: YOU HIGHLIGHT. For wanting less notice to FLAWS, you, DARKEN>
Like this to remember: To bring forward: HIGHLIGHT To reduce: DARKEN. Makeup is all about DELUSION / BLENDING.

Maybe dark liner (grey or black) to enhance the lash line and then a lighter color (white or beige) as a highlighter on the brow bone, to draw the emphasis upward.
