What book have you read that has the craziest twist or twists that you never saw coming?
When I was in high school my teacher told us about an author that he liked. He said that in this guys books there were always twists at the end that went a completely different way than you'd think. I'm trying to figure out who the author was.
And also I just wanna know of some books that are really suspenseful and have wild, unexpected turns?
Thanks.

. . . . . ever tried these:
The Nose - Nikolai Gogol
A Soldier's Embrace - Nadine Gordimer
Palace of the Peacock - Wilson Harris
Eye of the Needle - Ken Follet
Yaa. . . . no telling whats gonna happen even in the very next paragraph, yet stuff happens for sure.Take Gogol for example, someones nose vanishes all of a sudden in one episode, in the next one folks are in a cathedral and the nose is well primed, then turn over the leaf and the nose is on verge of fleeing overseas.

George R. R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire books are really great in the way you are looking for. The point of view changes between characters in every chapter, so you get to see things from all perspectives. Whatever your favorite characters turn out to be, he isn't afraid to have something really tragic happen to them so you can't really predict what's going to happen.
