I would definitely get a phoenix if they existed. I think the whole mythology behind the bird, coupled with fire and returning from ashes is a really neat concept.
As destructive as it is by nature, it also has the power to heal with it's tears.
How neat is that?
PS -> I don't consider this or any question stupid. You never know if you don't ask!

i would so get a dragon! If you've ever read Dragonlance or played D&D, I would either get a Blue dragon, silver dragon, or a white dragon, they are my favorite.
I would also like a Griffon. I just think the idea of being able to fly on your pet's back. Awesome.
