i live in new york and im 18 and my girlfrined is 15 and her mom told her that if she didnt stop seeing me should would call the police. can she have me arrested if i didnt have any sexual relations with her that she knows of?

unless she can prove that you've had sex she cannot call the cops but she can tell her to stop seeing you but most of the time that doesn't work either!

I'm not exactly an expert on New York Law. But the Mom does have rights to stop you from seeing her.
A lot of States have a 3 year consent law. But if I remember correctly, 15 and under parents can file rape charges regardless of what the child says. I have a relative who was 18, got LIED to by this girl who said she was 17 (turns out she was 15 or 14, can't remember). The Mom filed charges against him, and he has been in and out of court and jumping through all kinds of legal hoops for the last year and a half, even though they have ABUNDANT proof that my relative was innocent. Once it is in the District Attorney's hands, you are screwed! They don't mess around when it comes to underage females. Guys always lose!
My advice? Let it go. It REALLY isn't worth the trouble, especially if legalities are involved.

Man you are coming way over the creepy line here. This sounds like the story line for a "Good Ole' Hillbilly Movie", she isn't also your sister or first cousin is she?
You're talking about a man old enough to be in college dating an 8th grader. man that's sick. I do not blame her Momma for wanting to call the cops on you. So yeah man the answer is "yes", her momma can bust your sorry *** if she can prove you are having sex with her 15 year old daughter, and it's very easy to do, and I'm sure as hell not going to tell you how she can do IT, but all momma has to do is give the cops a call, and they can tell her, - and BOOM, you are in Prison, being someone Else's "wife" for the next 5 - 10. Still worth it? Find some one your own age to play with Bubba.

Dude, you shouldn't have had sex with her anyway. You should be freaking the F***out! If she where to get pregnant:
1.you go to jail as a sex offender, or worse prison where inmates might help rehabilitate you. You will be required by law to inform your neigbors you where convicted of sexual assault on a minor over 13.
2.say you avoid jail, you will have intentionally created another teenage mother who will among other things- not have enough life experience or education to pay for, care for, provide the monetary support for college (about $60k in 18 years).
man, if you did -stop! If you care about her-you will apologise to mom and WAIT! next year she will be legally consenting age (I think) this doesn't mean she is ready just like 18 years old doesn't mean your are ready!

yes she can make you. you can do anything from getting a restraining order or having you arrested for statutory rape. Your 18 and considered a men, shes 15 and still a child find someone your own age, or older. Leave the children alone.

Oh my goodness, this is a difficult situation ...
How did her mom find out? Anyway, the only way you can be arrested is if there's prof that you two had sexuall intercourse. Other then that, just making assumptions won't get you into any trouble.
Plus, if you prove to her mom that you are a decent guy and that you are more then willing to wait for her to come of age, then things should go pretty easy for you and your girlfriend.

I don't know the laws of new york, but out here where I am at. yes she can her daughter is still consider a minor and you are an adult. wait until she is old enough and if you both have feelings for each other then, go for it. good luck.
