Depends on the type of earring that the guy wears. One stud is OK. There is a guy who works at the gas station who has a huge earring it looks like something that you would put o a large screw. Now that is gross.

Why does it have to be one or the other? Sometimes it just is. Most times I see guys with earrings if they are otherwise well presented it just doesn't occur to me that it's turning me on or off.
If a guy's overall presentation is not so great, the earring, as part of the package, could be a turn-off. If a guy's overall presentation is over the top, the earring may just add to that dimension.
But as a rule, earrings on guys do not bother me one way or the other. I wouldn't think twice about knowing or getting involved with a guy with an earring under the circs. I've described above.

Some earrings on some males looks really good. And it can be a turn on.

Judging on my own experience, it's a total turn to girls for guys to have earrings.
When I started dating my girlfriend last year, I didn't have an earring, nor did I ever think about doing it. My girlfriend really wanted me to pierce my ear & she kept telling me how cool I would look with one. I finally broke down & pierced my left ear.
Having an earring really grew on me & I must confess that she was right & I was really glad I got it done.
A year later, I've got a silver hoop in each ear & I totally love having it. It would have never happened if my girlfriend hadn't suggested to me to I get one.

Well Earrings on guys show they wanna look pimpster with bling,I think its a automatic turn OFF!( well unless the boy is sooo cute :P)

For me it depends on what kind of earring it is. A hoop is a total turn off...But a nice little diamond stud is not too bad.....But I would prefer no earring on a man
