16. It was a 1962 Ford Falcon (they don't even make them anymore), Black with Red interior. I thought I was so cool. My parents bought it so I could go back and forth to college.

I was given a new car when I was 16. People assumed that I was a spoiled brat, but I wasn't. My dad died from a brain tumor when I was 16 and I got his car.

20 days after my 18th Birthday... 1982.
My Dad had put up $1000, and I had to put up $1000 plus any extra... I bought a 1972 VW Dasher for $2300, and drove her until 1993 when my ex-wife took it in the divorce.
