There are several politicians I don't care for and would not vote for, but I'm not going to go around bashing them. Talk is cheap and I'd say most who are bashing Bush doesn't look at or know the whole picture. While I don't agree on everything Bush is/has done I also don't know everything the government does so can't know if everything is right or not. The thing we won't know for sure how good or bad Bush is until after he is out of office. The day may come when we find out he was very right in what he had done.. and then we may find out that he wasn't right. So the people who are big on bashing Bush should lay off some as someday they may be eating crow.

People will always bash anyone who has different view points, comes from a wealthy family and is a political leader. This just shows their own ignorance. If they support their reason to disagree with strong Facts then they are educated and have a reason to disagree but to not like a person because they are rich, or their beliefs is ignorant. Owns beliefs are personal and to agree or disagree is your prerogative. However I do agree that belief in god doesn't make you a better president nor does it mean he is immune to mistakes. True religious people understand this. As people we put those who believe in god on a pedestal and when they stumble we are harder on them. Presidents have always had to deal with bashing even if it is not based on facts. Yes President Bush has made mistakes but you can list mistakes for every president as well as success. Most of the bashing is because of the wars, no one wants to see our soldiers die, nor should innocent people die. This war is about the millions of people that will suffer if terrorist are left unchecked. More bombing will happen all over the world and many more Iraq's and Afghanistan's will die is free country is not given a chance to form. As Americans we take for granted our freedoms and it is our duty to help protect freedom in the world even if that comes at a high price. Look at WWI, WWII if countries didn't stand up then what kind of world would we be living in now?

First of all, not all of us love "God". Some of us question It's existence. There is no proof. So in my view, Bush is whacked for believing in a fake entity.

Secondly, who is he protecting us from? He has a few crackpots locked up in Guantanamo, and a few in secret, undisclosed CIA prisons, but overall, they hate America even more now. As soon as they have a good plan, they will attempt to take out the White House. That has been a goal set 10 or 15 years ago, and these are patient, religious, nutcakes, so you can pretty much count on that happening eventually.

My brother, you are so confused if you cannot see the obvious. Nobody is doing anything unless the shoe fits and this Bush Bashing isn't something people do because Bush is some kind of angel. He is an angel with horns. Bush is evidently a liar and all of his administration are as corrupt as him and I tell you, I am no liar on these points. I quit believing in Bush when he lied to get us into a war that has went anything but good when in fact there were never no w.m.d. ,,,,weapons of mass destruction and Bush knew it too. Come on, you're joking, right, I mean you really think this guy is all about god, he isn't, he is all about the devils advocate. Peace be unto you my brother, but there is no bible in Bushes pocket, no no, there is nothing there but dirty money, very filthy money and if YOU cannot see THIS then, you have some serious issues brother.. Theres a light on up there but nobody's home.

Throughout history, leaders are always relatively popular at the beginning of wars. Then, as wars continue, their popularity wains as citizens become tired and frustrated of the inevitable "bad news" that comes from being in a war.

Plus, President Bush has as much charisma as a carrot (and I'm a conservative!). For as much as I couldn't stand Clinton and, more to the point, his policies, he was a charismatic leader who seemed relatively intelligent (when he spoke). Bush...god, every time I hear him, I cringe. He's almost become a parody of himself. It's amazing that this same man got himself re-elected just over two years ago.

James ... The reasons are ratings and money.

There was a day when news programs informed us by providing the news. When the world got "wired," so to speak, and we couldn't wait any longer for the next day's newspaper or the evening news, an entrepreneur got the idea of having a 24 hour news network.

For a while he enjoyed a monopoly and I think success spoiled him. Then others got into the act and now CNN has competition.

The world is more wired than ever and delivering information fast has become a marketable commodity. The problems began when the competing news organizations decided to spice things up too much by introducing news analysts and commentators, some of whom are leaning way toward one side or the other, thereby skewing their delivery of the news.

When the news analysts didn't provide enough of an edge, here came the commentators, some of whom are more like a baseball or football game "color commentator."

These lively and entertaining commentators are NOT journalists, unfortunately. But Americans, for the most part, seem to have forgotten what the definition of a newscast is. Plain news is boring and is therefore less profitable than the commentary-type programs. Commentators are entertaining and draw bigger audiences ... and Americans are falling for this deception, unfortunately.

The WORST commentator, I feel, is MSNBC's Olbermann. I can't watch him for more than two minutes before getting ill. The worst show was the now-defunct Crossfire on CNN. It used to be decent. When their ratings declined, they got commentators who operated on the fringes. When that wasn't enough, instead of two, they got FOUR commentators all trying to talk over one another at the same time and even added an audience that cheered and jeered according to their mood. I knew that Crossfire was not a serious news program when I saw a discussion regarding something of an especially atrocious nature being discussed with smiles and levity. And when they went to a break, I guess an "applause" sign was flashed and the audience applauded enthusiastically as they seemed to forget the heinousness of the topic and they reveled in seeing themselves on TV for 2 seconds. That told me they weren't offering news or commentary ... That was entertainment, courtesy of CNN, or Comedy Network News. Imagine World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) with suits and ties ... Same thing.

I tune into CNN rarely, now. Most recently I witnessed their anchor of anchors, Wolf Blitzer, trying to "razz" the Vice President while questioning him about his daughter's pregnancy. The V.P., in his usual cool style, wasn't flustered despite Blitzer's irrelevant and personal line of questioning. In a separate interview, Blitzer tried the same hard-nosed technique with Mrs. Cheney. She's not the V.P., isn't an elected official, and therefore, answers to no one; that was all the excuse she needed to take off the gloves and shove it right back into Blitzer's face. I'm not anti-Blitzer; he's intelligent and a leader in his field, but his line of questions, as well as his enthusiam for trying to "sock it" to the Cheney's, revealed his true political colors.

Judy Woodruff ... I don't follow her closely, but when she nearly was brought to tears on the air regarding President Bush's 2004 victory over Senator Kerry, I began to worry about her qualifications, too.

And that's part of the reasons why we've gotten as divided as we are. Because the media outlets have replaced the journalists with left- and right-leaning cheerleaders, for lack of a better word, and America is swallowing these trash "news" programs hook, line, and sinker!

Thanks for an excellent question.

My problem is way conservatives believe they are the only ones who believe in God and see liberals have no belief in God. When the prophets of the GOP: Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson and James Dobson claim it was God who chose Bush to president in 2000.

So what if he loves god? Bin Laden loves his god, too. We don't need a religious zealot, especially not one who has commited every sin in the book and is proud of it. Good that you mention "crack" ad "pot" - isn't his family notorious for doing coke, crack, pot, booze, etc.? And how does he protect the country? 9/11 happened during his mandate, some protection he offers.
