You need to remain very calm to keep it from gussing out . Clean the area so you can see where the blood is coming from . Apply pressure to the wounded area . Applying pressure to the wound helps stop the bleeding. I have a weak stomach when it comes to blood because I have two young boys who are always getting hurt.

I'm a nurse so i see it all the time , yummy cant get enough of it , i do be waiting at the doors with a knife just in case a healthy person comes in !

every time my boyfriend gets his blood drawn for something, unless i am holding his hand, he would definitely pass out in a matter of seconds.
poor honey.
i, myself, never used to be grossed out at blood, until my schizoprhenic mother left her diabetes supplies in sight - especially located in the kitchen when im trying to find food to eat.

It depends. If I am drawing it I am fine. If it is my kids I'm calm in order to clean them up. if its my own i usually get real nervous.

blood doesn't bother me. but if organs or brain matter are spilling out, well, that's a different story.
