A couple of things:

All atoms are microscopic.

In almost every single thing on earth (rocks, plants, animals, etc.) there are very small quanities of every natural element. In an apple, for example, there is bound to be at least one atom of Uranium, Arsenic, Lead, Mercury, Gold, Silver, Platinum, etc., along with typical atoms like Carbon, Oxygen, Nitrogen, Sulfer, Posphorus, and Hydrogen.
