my shoes come off the minute i walk into the door no matter where i have been

Growing up in a family which originally come from a Iran yes because back in Iran its respectful to take you shoes off so Ive grown up doing that, its always weird when my friends come over and they don't take their shoes off, I never tell them to because I don't force my culture upon other people but it feels awkward seeing shoes walking round my house!

Yes goodness yes. 3 and 4 inch stilettos, cute but not comfortable for extended periods of time.

I take them off once I get in the car....I drive barefoot.....Or if it is raining then I take them off before I get outside. In Florida, during the summer, it always starts to rain 15 minutes before the end of the work day!!!

Usually, but not always. I suppose if I were to get my carpet shampooed (maybe I'll do that next weekend, if the weather is good), I would make it a requirement...of me and everybody else who comes in.

Not IMMEDIATELY. I usually walk in, let my cat out of her room, go into the bathroon for my pj's, THEN I take my shoes off so I can get out of my work clothes and get my comfy clothes on!

no cause i don't wear my shoes at work. i am a stay at home mom. i do however take them off as soon as i get back from going somewhere.
