While an employee of the PO might be a notary, they cannot notarize anything while on the job.

Try a bank. Some copy places also do this. Also, "notaries" are listed in the yellow pages.

Notaries don't advertise much anymore, as most banks and insurance offices offer notary services for free to their clients.

In our city, Kroger Grocery Stores have a free notary service, as does the local Kinko's copy center. A few phone calls will most likely find you one.

I've never heard of one at a P.O. Usually they are found in real estate, property management or attorney offices, anywhere legal docs are processed like rental leases, depositions, etc. There are also individuals, not affiliated with companies....perhaps a neighbor. Check the phone book or online.

No, not really unless they're trying to buy stamps. lol Try a local Yahoo Yellow Pages look up. It'll be faster to find one that way.
