Thanks.

I find that you have some valid points. Does it surprise you that I am a conservative and yet find that you are right sometimes?

Some of what you say speaks more to viewpoint and opinion though, but I still understand that you have issues about the direction of our country.

I think I could be friends with you. I think we could sit over coffee or a beer and have really great talks about all these issues.

We wouldn't agree, but I'll bet we could discuss and debate them without calling each other names.

There is a very big picture out there my friend, and I value the part of it that you are trying to paint for us all.

Do you think that perhaps we all, both conservative and liberal, have a part of the overall painting that has value, and that the picture will be incomplete without all parts being displayed?

I do.

I want you to know I don't hate you and that I do respect some of the points you make.

Is that a point where we can begin to have discourse and together hammer out solutions that will achieve your and my goals better than if we fight each other?

I think so...

you are very confused . I will prove you are not a free thinker , it is obvious you are against the war . So do you know who we are fighting , do you know anything about the islam religion , do you know why these people are killing their own kind and what their stated agenda is .,

also i would be willing to bet you are against the patriot act , have you read it , did you know the practices used in it have been used to catch the organized crime leaders for years such as the mafia

have you read the 9/11 commission report , or do you just assume what your liberal sheep buddies tell you?

how many resolutions have you been against that you have not read?

do you know what wmd's they found there , do you know what programs they stopped there , do you know how many reasons there were besides wmd to go to iraq that was presented to congress

do you realize we didn't make enemies , and that we have been fighting this same war for much longer that 2002

did you know a possibility of the 9/11 attacks was because muslims were migrating to america , and that laden thinks they should first conquer the west then their own , while the majority of the leaders think the opposite

did you know how many troops support this war and how many are republican and conservative

do you realize the media is very liberal , and that regardless who owns it they realize what people watch , and that is much more interesting to see "drama" in the world and politics than reporting actual news , and they are using you to become richer , which happens to be something you are against . How do I know you are against that you ask? because you are a liberal

the bottom line is that if you don't have the knowledge to make a decision then you are not a free thinker , and anyone that has the knowledge is a conservative for a reason , but feel free to keep living in your fantasy world while you make it very hard for the soldiers to keep you free , congradulations , you are on your way to ruining america .

liberalism is a mental disorder

The government should be responsible for defending our country, locally and abroad...and that's about it.

The government should abolish the welfare system, the social security system, and its involvement in education. It should not even think about involving itself in the health care industry. Nowhere in the constitution does it say the government should take care of any of these things.

Tax us less...much less. Stop all these stupid, useless, goverment pork projects and give the power back to the states and the people of those states.

The more the government gives now, the harder it will be to take it away later. The U.S. is slowly becoming a socialist state, and we must stop it before we throw ourselves off the proverbial cliff.

There is a BLATANT liberal bias in the media. Sure, conservatives have Rush, Bill and others, but that's nothing compared to the major networks (CBS, NBC, ABC) and the constant spinning they do against republicans and for democrats.

Regarding going into Iraq, the intelligence we had was wrong. Still, Clinton's adminstration believed the same exact thing. So did the British, and the French, and dozens of other nations. The reason for going in (WMD's), given the fact that we had just been attacked a year earlier on 9/11, was a legitimate enough reason.

America needed to make a statement. We needed to tell the terrorists that you don't mess with America.

Since that time, there have been so many gaffes and so many coverups by this current administration that it makes it more and more difficult to remember our reasons for being there.

I'm a conservative republican, but I can't stand the policies of President Bush. Not necessarily his foreign policies, but the ones on the homefront. He spends like a typical democrat...he just doesn't tax like one.

Mr. President, stop the spending on all these ridiculous, "look at what I'm going to do for you" spending programs. They never work and are just a waste of money.

Ok, I'm off my soap box.

Signed...

Frustrated Conservative

Dear Scott Anthony Davis, whatever that is, the flavor of your Cool-Aide should be gray-green. Just like any other flamer who has no new ideas; practices the politics of personal destruction; lies and distorts the truth as you just have written about WMDs; and as a member of kooky Far Left recognize only the phony liberal line as in Communistic indoctrination. The Secular Progressives may have won the most recent election but have you ever seen the conservatives fall apart as quickly as Lieing Harry, as in land deals not part of his portfolio, and the Speaker of the House Noisy Pelosi? Their 100 hour campaign is still not complete and adjustments are still being made. The spending budget you so handily dismissed was fraught with pay-back Pork Barrel Projects written on checks that can't and won't be cashed because of the veto President Bush will exercize.

You can't be this stupid and be able to walk the streets these days. Even the Liberal Elite Media admit they are left leaning and want the Bush administration to fail. Your lie falls on deaf ears, Scat... er Scott. You have learned well at the knee of Soros, Franken, Fatty Moore, and worst of all, domestically, Gov. Blanco and Nowhere Nagin. If you can take your pea-brain back to all the money sent to N-O for levy repair you will find that the money was used for other stuff that didn't matter to a hill of beans. Louisiana and New Orleans haven't changed forever. It is completely dominated by the Liberal party of "I want more, give me more!" This is commonly known as a "WELFARE STATE".

I know that most of this has gone over your head and that your eyes glazed over, a reaction when people of your caliber are faced with the truth, but here it is the clear unvarnished truth waiting to reach up and *****-slap you into consciousness.

I had one small problem with what you said, its about New Orleans. Let's take a good look at it, Governor of LA, democrat, mayor of New Orleans, democrat, sense a trend here?

I lived there years ago and it was known then that a large enough or damaging enough hurricane could flood the city. The truth about New Orleans is that everyone in its government for the past 200+ years is to blame, not just one President and FEMA. They are just scapegoats for a much larger problem that has existed since the city was founded.

The real problem is that both sides are soooooooooo busy laying blame to the other side that neither side listens any more. I AM TALKING ABOUT BOTH LIBS AND CONS.

First of all, Im Republican because I am not a sheep and have done my research. Media: FOX is clearly conservative. CNN, CBS and some segments of NBC are clearly liberal. liberals have more media outlets. We called the lunatics burning our flag and our soldiers in effigy the anti-Americans, which the reason should be fairly obvious. We have never called you terrorists. Bush has said what the Dem leaders are doing is helping the terrorists by decreasing our morale and tying down the generals, and he is somewhat right, is he not? We try to up security and fight our enemies so you and I wouldnt have to be scared. Negotiating with terrorists isnt going to make America safer. The Federal Govt was the only ones to help Katrina victims. After warning them, many refused, and without good reason. Then, when the Category 5 hurricane hit, the mayor of New Orleans did nothing but called everyone racists because a hurricane hit New Orleans and it must have been Bush's fault because he is white. The state of Loiusiana did nothing. National Gaurd units from all over the nation came and you know what, they came under fire because the idiots in New Orleans were shooting at them! Liberals like Obama support illegal immigration all the way, so it is both sides to the national work problem. we dont call your news crazy, you call ours crazy. Like it or not, OReilly is rough on you guys, but he is usually right, no matter what you wanna make up about him. And yet, many things you just accused Republicans of doing, you are doing. You guys support abortion. You guys support this genocide. You guys wanted the Pledge of Alleigiance out of our schools because it had 'under God' in it. You guys think that morals have no place in politics, and look at the corruption on both sides. You are getting what you want in congress, and it is destroying our nation inside out. We have scandals, but you guys come on to us so hard as if you have no scandals, while you have at least as many. How dare you call us terrorists. We believe in freedom, good for mankind, importance of morals and in fighting against evil, whom many Dems want to negociate with. Yes there is good and evil, and the terrorists are evil, so stop hindering our fight against them and stop defending their actions.

Sheep... riiight. Keep saying it and you'll keep sounding like every other mind numbingly dumb liberal.

Media is not liberally owned? Really? And exactly what is being censored?

Murdering troops? I thought that was the insurgents.

The worst terrorists? I think the insurgents are the ones attacking civilians.

New Orleans? F New Orleans.

Your news is crazy. You people think 9/11 was a conspiracy. You're out of touch with reality. And you're a douche.

uhm.. first of all, liberals DO own the media. They're lobbying and paying them off so that they can get into power by propoganda. And anyway, they're hypocrits and traters. They're cutting back the supplies to our troops and they always try to look like the good guys by going all: oh world peace! like friggen ms. america. Well, I'll tell all you liberals this: when our twin towers get hit and terrorists bring the war on OUR soil, we can't just sit here and do nothing! Because if there was an invasionn, they'd be the first to run and blame everyone else!

It's even funnier how some fascists who call "themselves" liberals spend all day regurgitating the junk " they've" had fed to "them" instead of doing any independent research on "their" own. No offense to you or any of your uneducated, spoiled zombie robot friends. Just please don't get us all blown up while you're blowing the terrorists.
