Add your percentages to the low support figures for the war in the US and the world, then any sane person has to say, 'Yes, it is time'

We can do so much to help stabilize Iraq, Democracy will take years to set in place. In reality there is no victory in Iraq The middle east for years has been so unstable with terrorism and extremists. I think us being there will solve nothing, no matter how hard we try terrorism is always gonna be around. We don't need all those troops over there we are there to train not to fight terror. Terror will always be a threat there and around the world. I say slowly withdraw our troops pick a date don't announce it and go from there. I think democrats did wrong by stating which month & date we will withdraw that could of been kept secret so our enemies don't plan something. but yes we are wasting our money just being over there in great numbers, when we are needed elsewhere across the globe. If we want to fight terror lets stay on target and find osama bin laden. He is still at large, we need to find him and put him to trial for 9/11.

Why you silly, silly, bean!
The wishes of the people of Iraq?
What could THAT POSSIBLY have to do with it?
I mean, we're the model for democracy, and what WE, the people of the United States, want has nothing to do with anything.
;-)
BTW, I hope you learned your lesson and will put the source up-front in your Details in the future, rather than waiting to put them in the Additionals.
I gather from what I read that most Iraqi's who are happy are the Kurds in the north: stable, the first time in just about forever that they've been allowed to be Kurds unmolested.
That means that, in the rest of the country, support for us is even LOWER than your numbers suggest.

HAHA and who is taking these polls if it's such a hell over in Iraq? I am sure CNN is running around while there are bombs and bullets flying asking Iraqi's if they think America should leave.
So what is it? It's too dangerous in Iraq for the U.S., or it is peaceful enough to take polls, have conversations, and give time for Iraqi's to take some stupid CNN survey?

It's a catch 22. If we stay, we are the evil "nation builders", but if we leave and thousands get slaughtered they we are the "cowards" that wouldn't stand and fight.
I say stay until the job is done. Terrorist hunting is an art, and we are getting quite good at it. The Iraqi government will get good at it too given time.

It's time to slowly withdraw. The whole point of this exercise was to try to make them independent, but all we've done is shift their dependence from a dictator to our own military. If Bush is right, and they're starting to get strong enough to defend themselves, then I say we start to let them do it. The only way to force them to accept responsibility for their own defense is to stop defending them.

Thanks for your poll where you don't cite any source, I guess we'll just have to take your biased word for it. We can't leave until we help fix it. End of story. Even if you didn't like us being there, you have to support us staying.
