on average?

There is no average. I've known 35 year olds that can barely handle a minimum wage job and I've known 35 year olds that are making over 100K. Look at Michael Dell (founder of Dell Computers). He started his original company in his dorm room at college, dropped out of school at age 19 and started Dell and was a multi-millionaire, if not a billionaire, by the age of 35.

It depends on how hard you want to work, what field of work you're in, education, any number of things, although having a college degree is not mandatory, it helps. Both Michael Dell and Bill Gates were college drop-outs.

There is no answer to this question. What do you do for a living? A doctor would be making a lot more than a secretary; even within your own field, an average is not very helpful, since salaries vary from place to place.
