For the love of GOD, keep it to yourself! IT CAN GET DAMN MESSY. Trust me. KEEP IT TO YOUR SELF.If you have ever listened to anything I've EVER said,listen to this advise.

It depends on what it is I think If it's negative or something hurtful, I'd keep it to myself. Even if they would be upset with me if they had found out in the future that I had known. I'm not the bearer of bad news. Not my job.
If it's a negative in their life such as a disease They have, I might mention it, telling them I heard a rumor and offering my support. I'd also explain this would not change the way I treated them but I was there if they need me or to talk.

That happened to me once. It was terrible. I found out my best friend's husband was having an affair with another good friend. I didn't tell my friend, but later after she knew, she was angry with me. But I believe she would have been angry either way. I like never to pass up a chance to keep my mouth shut. Saves a lot of grief in the long run.

Honestly I would find the perfect time to mention that I found out because if I found out others might also. So it would be like a warning to them

We all have things that we prefer to not become public knowledge. I would respect the persons privacy and keep it to myself.
I might let the person know I found out, so they know it's not as private as they think.

I keep it in my sleeve just in case! I'm usually not the type to judge people, but if someone bitches me too much, bam! There goes that card down on the table.

The messenger always gets shot. I know you want to help with whatever it is, but people only believe what they want to believe. Sometimes we only find out the truth the hard way in the end by ourselves..

Try to keep it to myself, but drop subtle hints so that they come out and ask me, "Do you know...?" I freakin hate keeping secrets. I'm can't lie worth a crap, I'm an open book.

i'd keep it to myself for a while, 'cause there's a very good reason he/she didn't tell. but eventually i'd tell them i found it so that they would tell what's going on. besides, maybe it's not even true. you never know.
