Alligator Bayou rooms at PORRS which is the best building?

Question

There are 5 of us and we will have to stay in this section- what is the best building for walking to the main building.

Also what are the chances at check in when politely asked and availible to be put in a Mansion room with a roll away- we got this in 05 due to them being out of smoking rooms at AB

Bulidings 18, 15 and 14 are the closest in comparision to the main building (food court and things) and also close to the quiet pool. As far as buses, pretty much all the room are close, pretty short walk no matter where you are.

Now, if you want to be closesr to the main pool, Ol' Man Island, then you should ask for a room in buildings 27 and then 38. However, since you want to be close to the main buidling, I would ask for the other buildings.




The best thing to do is call Disney or let your travel agent know of your requests. They can put them on your reservation, just don't have too many because Disney's system has problems when a lot of requests are put in. Then, when Disney makes room assignments they will try to accomodate your requests as much as they can.

If you want the Mansions, the best thing to do is check in as early as you can, even before check in time if you are there. Let them know of your requests and then they will try to get you what you want. If they have a room available, they will give it to you, if they have one that will become available, then they will ask if you mind waiting for a little while. So basically, if it is possible, Disney will try and get it for you, so it is always worth asking. Just try to work with them and they will worth with you.
