If you're watching your carb intake, the banana and honey will not help at all, as they are all carbs.
Oatmeal is high in fiber. Most types of fiber will not be absorbed by your body, so the fiber carbs aren't "real" carbs in the sense you would be thinking when you're watching your carb intake.
Are you watching your carb intake for diet reasons or because of diabetes? If because of diabetes, oatmeal will have minimal impact on your blood sugar, and it will be a slow effect instead of an immediate raise. The banana and the honey, however, are all filled with carbs.
It seems that the low carb dieting thing works mainly because you are actually consuming less calories. If you eat less calories than your body burns daily, that will generally mean you will lose weight. Look for higher fiber foods, avoid high fat, high calorie foods, and try not to eat when you're not hungry. Also, studies have shown that people who keep a log of what they have eaten have a higher chance of losing weight and keeping it off, so write it down!
Carbs are needed by your body for many reasons. High fiber foods help you feel full for longer, so in that sense, I think carbs are a dieters best friend. It's really all about moderation. Don't deprive yourself, just don't overindulge either. :) Hope this helps a little.

You need to read up on good carbs vs bad carbs; your body does need some carbs, they are best to eat early in the morning and eat sparingly at night. The carbs you should stay away from are sugary cereals and snacks, deserts, chips, white bread, white rice, soda/juice/tea and bread items like pizza or rolls. It's ok to have whole grain bread, some fresh fruit etc...almost everything has some amount of carbs in it. It's more important to watch your sugar, calorie and fat intake vs just looking at the carbs on a label. Natural whole oat Oatmeal is a very good carb (don't buy the prepackaged ones with flavor and all that in them; buy the plain kind that comes in a "tube" container). I would opt to just use the splenda and banana. Also drinking lots of water and getting at least 8 hours of sleep at night are a huge aid in curbing your appetite and keeping your cortisol levels down thus helping you lose weight and keep your tummy flatter.

The banana is a bigger deal than the oatmeal.
Oatmeal is a complex carb with soluble fiber--it gathers up all the sludge from your system and puts it in your colon to get rid of it.
Oatmeal every morning is just about one of the best things you can do for your body.
