Be yourself thats sumthing I cant stress enoguh. We dont always look for girls that r the same. Be sure this is something u really want. How do I know all this? Because I do print modeling for JRP John Robert Powers. Since Im advance now I select girls for upcomig things and so on. Modeling isnt easy although it sure looks that way. Infact Im too shy to do runway modeling so, decided that print was best for me. I actually dont know how much that is Im american and I dont mean that in a nasty or rude way. Drink a lot of water, eat healthy dont foucus on your weight too much, that all depends on the type of modeling you want to do. Do some reseach and find what it best for you there r a lot of things girls can do thee days. I would suggust for you to go and take some professional pictures. When girls come and we ask for pictures and they are not professional we dont take them as serious as they probably are. Why? becasue thats the basics...pictures. I dont mean just any kind either. You need a profolio becasue thats whatmodels keep. Actors and Actresses uses hed shots every now and then models will too depending on the company and what they are looking for at the current time. Believe in yoursef, have people who believe in you. Hang outwith people who also want to be models thats a great way to build extra confidence.....wow! but not too much we dont like girls with nasty attitudes who think they know it all. Be open to changes, but dont change who you are. It may seem hrd at first but there are people wout there who will find you to be perfect and love you the way you are, looks and so on including you size. Be happy ith who you are, Do modeling becasue it what YOU want to do and NOT what you feel you HAVE to do. If you need anything else just email me at my email here. I would love to help you in any way possible. There is more I can say but I dont want to be too long. Good Luck and you can do it.

You need a portfolio and you need to send comp cards to agents in order to get work. It's an expensive process so you shold be willing to put out some cash to create a portfolio. However, with your height you may not have to check into too many agencies before they scoop you up! You should also decide what types of modeling you are fit for. Check the Wiki article for more info!

DON'T LOOSE THE WEIGHT!! because once you start loosing weight you will want to loose more and more and then you'll get to that size zero that makes me feel physically sick... and for your height you seem like the perfect weight and to be honest if your a good enough model they will take you on regardless of your size. so just keep trying and if you don't find anywhere ask on here... for ideas of how to get a job.

Holy... I'm only 10% body fat as of last year, and i've slimmed down...
Anyways, Moleding is a good career, but there's only 5 available jobs a year in the U.S.
It's also expensive, ($400 for starters) and they don't like you wearing any makeup at your head-shot photo shoot. Try runway fashion shows at your mall, then go from there.

You don't need to lose weight.. and you have to be at LEAST 18 percent body fat in order to be able to model.. plus if you're a bit chubby there's plus size models too..
