Sure. If you give someone money they will give you a house. SS# only come into play if you need a mortgage. Then you will have issues.

Yes. There are some lenders who accept a tax id number in place of a social security number for persons who are foreign born.

Not in Connecticut. When the deed is filed, there is a Conveyance Tax paid by the Seller, and both Buyer and Seller's names and Taxpayer Identification Numbers have to be on the form, and the deed will not be accepted for recording without a completed form.

No because you need to have your credit report pulled and that can't be done without a soc. sec. #. Also the title will change hands and the county will want to know who the new owners are and that may also require a SS#.
Paying cash may avoid the lack of SS#.

Maybe, but I don't see how. Any loan would require a ss number to process, and cash transactions over a certain amount have to be reported to the IRS. Maybe there's a way around that, but I doubt its legal.

Yes. I have sold homes to several people who did not have SS#'s. Banco Popular is probably your best bet. As long as you have a good employment history, a bank account, and good rental history, you shouldn't have a problem. But beware, the rates may be high.

No...without an SS number, you don't exist as far as the government is concerned.
