Yeah, lol I've just thought about it and it does sound like weigh a pie, so when you think of that enormous wind that erupted shortly afterwards. surely it must have been pea n ham pie or baked bean n sausage pie. Wow you've made me laugh even more now, cheers for that.

The pie was a bluebird one that Judy Garland got for appearing in the film. She had to decide whether it was heavy enough to compensate her for wearing those terrible hair bunches so she asked somebody to "weigh a pie".
